K9 Partners Instructor Dee...

K9 Partners is my not for profit community service to enhance the lives of all dogs via education and training thus providing a service to the whole community.

Dogs are my life and I have always worked with dogs; from diverse areas such as an Assistance Dog trainer, to a manager of a breeding program for a large guide dog organisation,  to an RSPCA shelter manager to teaching K9 behaviour and training at university to assessing Assistance Dogs for PAT and therapy dogs and handlers.

All dogs I have met are unique. People talk about having that special dog or the once in a lifetime dog, but each dog who shares your life should always be that special one. It is up to us as owners/guardians of our dogs to provide that special life.

That life starts with ensuring each pawstep is positive and enjoyable - dogs and us have one life so lets make it the best one.

Experience is the key to success...

Qualifications. Dee's include; Diploma in Canine Psychology (with Distinction), Obedience Instructor, Assistance Dog Trainer, Registered Veterinary Nurse, Cert IV TAE plus many more...

To compliment qualifications there must be experience and Dee certainly has that; from training dogs for scent detection work with police dogs to therapy dog assessments, to pet dogs with behavioural issues to assistance dogs providing independence, to police dog manwork to a companion for a child with special abilities, to the high drive competition dog to the dog with special abilities...these are just a few of the dogs Dee has worked with. Each dog is unique and K9 Partners aim is for every dog to be a dog in a lifetime...
